Calvin Ma
Co-Founder and Managing Director
Mr. Ma has led a wide spectrum of business development and investment opportunities – ranging from venture capital transactions in earlier-stage startups, to private equity type of transactions in high-growth and established businesses in consumer, technology, media and entertainment, real estate and hospitality, infrastructure and natural resources sectors, as well as fund investments through partnerships with other investment managers.
Mr. Ma was previously with Morgan Stanley Private Equity Asia, having worked on growth, buyout and distressed investment opportunities in the Greater China and Southeast Asia regions. Prior to this, Calvin embarked on his career in investment banking at Deutsche Bank, with extensive experience in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions, and leveraged finance.
Mr. Ma graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
